HOW TO REACH CHIOGGIA
- By car.
Arriving
from
Milan or Verona
(through the A4 motorway), follow in the direction of A13
Bologna – Padova, and drive for about 4 km. Take the
motorway exit Padova Zona Industriale-Interporto, follow
than in the direction of state
road 309 “Romea”Chioggia-
Ravenna for
about 45 Km.
Arriving from
Udine, follow in the direction of Venezia – airport ,go
on to Tangenziale di Mestre, then follow in direction of
ultima uscita - Marghera - Ravenna and follow in the direction
of Chioggia-Ravenna (state road nr. 309 “Romea”) for
about 45 Km.
Arriving
from
Bologna,
take the motorway exit A13 in Monselice, then follow in the
direction of Chioggia-Sottomarina (regional road nr. 104
“Via Mare”) for about 40 Km.
Arriving
from
Ravenna,
follow the state road nr. 309 “Romea”.
Arriving from all the above-mentioned directions take the exit “Chioggia-Sottomarina”;
keep your right side and straight on about 3 Km in direction “Sottomarina” and
“Mare”. In the “Lungomare Adriatico”, after the hotel Bristol (on your left
side), on the second crossing, immediately after the hotel Ambasciatori and the
sailor monument with fountain, turn left, you must straight on about 600 m.,
across the bridge and after 200 m. on your right side on the beautiful Lusenzo
Lagoon you’ll find the base.
- By train.
If you arrive
from
Milan or Verona,
get off in Padua; than take the bus to “Chioggia/Sottomarina” line
Sita nr. 805, (the bus terminal is on the left just 200 meters far
from the railway station, service frequency: every 30 minutes,
duration: about 1 hour and 20 minutes, ticket price: about 5,50 €).
Get off in Sottomarina (last stop). From the bus station to our base
it takes about 5/10 minutes on foot.
If you arrive
from Udine/Trieste get off at Venice Santa Lucia railway
station. Go over the new bridge Calatrava" and in a 5 minutes walk
you will be in Piazzale Roma. Get the bus line ACTV n.80 (leaving
from the lane D1, service frequency: every 30 minutes, duration:
about 1 hour and 20 minutes, ticket price: about 5,00 €). Get off in
Sottomarina (last stop). From the bus station to our base it takes
about 5/10 minutes on foot.
If you arrive
from
Bologna
get off in Rovigo railway station. Get on the regional train to
Chioggia (duration: about 1 hour, ticket price: about 5,00 €). From
the railway station you can walk through the historical centre of
Chioggia and in 20 minutes you will reach our base. Otherwise you
can take the bus line n.2 or n.6 ACTV ( the bus stop is just outside
the railway station, service frequency: every 15 minutes, ticket
price: about 1,10 €). In 10 minutes it will take you to Isola
dell’Unione.
If You prefer Rendez-vous
Fantasia can organize a transfer that will take you directly from the airport to
the base of embarkation (on request).
- By airplane.
Marco Polo Airport
in Venice
(about 60 Km from Chioggia) and Canova Airport in Treviso
(about 80 Km from Chioggia) are the nearest airports to Chioggia .
A Bus connection
from both the airports to Venice-Piazzale Roma is available:
- From the Marco
Polo Airport to Venice (Piazzale Roma), get on the bus line ACTV
n.5 (the bus stop is just outside the airport, service frequency:
every 15 minutes, duration: 25 minutes, ticket price: about 5,00 €)
- From the
Canova Airport in Treviso if you arrive with a Ryanair flight,
take the shuttle ATVO or BRUSUTTI (the bus stop is located just in
front of the airport, service frequency: every 10/15 minutes,
duration: 1 hour and 10 minutes, ticket price: about 5,00 €).
When you get in
Venice-Piazzale Roma, get the bus line ACTV n.80 (the bus stop is at
Lane D1, service frequency: every 30 minutes, duration: 1 hour and
20 minutes, ticket price: about 5,00 €) and get off in Sottomarina
(last stop). From the bus station to our base it takes about 5/10
minutes on foot.
If you arrive from
the Orio al Serio Airport in Bergamo, get on
the ATB bus (service frequency: every 20 minutes, ticket price:
about 4,00 €) that
will take you in just 10 minutes to the Train Station of Bergamo. In
Bergamo catch the train to Brescia and from there the one to Padua
(total duration: about 2 hours and 45 minutes, ticket price: about
30,00 €).
In Padua get the
bus “Chioggia/Sottomarina”, bus line SITA n. 805 ( The bus terminal
is on the left at just 200 meters from the exit of the train
station, service frequency every 30 minutes, duration: 1 hour and 20
minutes, tiket price: about 5,50 €). Get off in Sottomarina (last
bus stop). From the bus station to our base it takes about 5/10
minutes on foot.
If you arrive at
the Marconi Airport in Bologna, get on the
Aerobus shuttle – BLQ (service frequency: every 15 minutes, ticket
price: about 5,00 €) that in just 20 minutes will take you to the
Railway Station of Bologna. From Bologna catch the train to Rovigo
and in Rovigo catch the regional train to Chioggia (total duration:
about 2 hours and a half, ticket price: about 11,00 €), and get off
at the last stop. Than from the railway station in 20 minutes you
will get to our base walking across Chioggia (old town centre). As
an alternative you can get the bus line ACTV n. 2 or n.6 (the bus
stop is just at the exit of the railway station, service frequency:
every 15 minutes, ticket price: about 1,10 €) that in 10 minutes
will take you to Isola dell’Unione.
